I learned how cinematography (lighting, camera angles, and framing) plays a huge role in shaping the audience's understanding of a story. These techniques help convey emotions, create tension, and highlight important details in the scene.

• Lighting: Lighting sets the mood and can make a scene feel happy, scary, or tense. Bright lighting can make a scene feel cheerful, while darker lighting can create mystery or suspense.
• Camera Angles: Different angles can show power dynamics. For example, a low-angle shot can make a character look powerful, while a high-angle shot can make them seem weak or vulnerable.
• Framing: How the shot is framed affects what the audience focuses on. Tight framing can make the viewer feel close to a character, while wide shots show the full environment and can make a character seem isolated.

These techniques are crucial in storytelling because they help guide how the audience feels and what they focus on, making the film or show more engaging.
