For My Last Topic Of My Fashion Magazine - I Created The Interview With Giulia Toth

I designed the final topic of my fashion magazine to be an exclusive interview with Giulia Toth, creating a visually striking and engaging layout. My goal was to make this feature stand out, capturing both the personality of the model and the essence of high fashion.

Typography & Font Usage

I deliberately made Giulia Toth’s name stand out in bold, red capital letters because red is a powerful color that symbolizes confidence, passion, and energy. I wanted her name to be the first thing readers noticed.

For the interview text, I structured the layout in a way that made it easy to read, with strong contrast between the background and the writing. This ensured that every answer in the interview was clear and visually appealing.

Color Palette & Aesthetic

I carefully selected a bold yet balanced color palette to give my magazine an editorial and professional feel.

  • Red for the headline—to create a striking, eye-catching effect that conveys confidence and power.
  • Soft and muted backgrounds—to allow the text and images to take center stage without feeling overwhelming.
  • Blue overlays in the text boxes—to add a cool, high-fashion aesthetic and make the content look polished.
  • A mix of grayscale and full-color images—to create contrast and enhance the storytelling aspect of the interview.

Photography & Image Composition

I paid special attention to how the images were arranged so that they would tell a visual story alongside the interview.

  1. Cover Page

    • I chose a dynamic and playful pose for Giulia to make her look confident and effortlessl
      y stylish.
    • The navy blue football jersey mixed with a tutu skirt creates an interesting contrast between sporty and high fashion, making the cover feel unique and unconventional.
    • The tie in her mouth adds a rebellious, editorial edge, making the cover feel straight out of a high-end fashion magazine.
  2. Second Page (Interview Layout)

    • I used an image of a microphone and a recording studio in the background to give the impression of an intimate, behind-the-scenes interview.
    • I placed Giulia’s photo in an orange-red top and futuristic sunglasses to bring a modern, bold aesthetic to the layout.
    • I mixed candid and posed shots to create an engaging, dynamic feel rather than a static, standard interview format.
  3. Third Page (Behind-the-Scenes & Live Moments)

    • I included an
image of Giulia speaking at a podium
to showcase her confidence and presence beyond just modeling.
    • I added a group photo with stylists and designers to highlight the teamwork behind the shoot and give readers insight into the creative process.
    • I carefully chose a photo of her engaged in discussion to show that she is not just a model but someone who actively participates in the creative vision.

Overall Impression & Final Thoughts

I am proud of how this section of my magazine turned out. The bold typography, striking colors, and curated images all work together to create a strong editorial aesthetic. I wanted this feature to feel professional, high-fashion, and visually engaging, and I think I successfully achieved that.
